Where To Stay🏹

Here are some places I stayed at in Seoul and my thoughts about them. All of them are available on Booking.com and Trip.com. Check those platforms for more information and pictures.

  • IBC Hotel is on the pricier side since it’s a 4⭐ hotel. However, you get access to a fitness center and a laundry room on the 1st floor. There’s also a breakfast room on this floor — breakfast costs 13,500 won (around €9). You just need to get your breakfast voucher at the front desk. It’s close to subway lines 1 and 2, in the Jong-ro neighborhood. On the ground floor, you have exclusive access to a 7-Eleven. How cool is that? If you want a midnight snack, you don’t even have to step outside 😁! It can be more affordable in the off-season.
  • Grid Inn Hotel is more budget-friendly and also close to public transport (like subway line 1). The front desk is open 24/7. There’s a cute little coffee shop ☕ on the ground floor. And don’t miss the rooftop, especially at night, for a sparkling view of the city 🌟 — or just to enjoy your coffee.
  • Top Hotel & Residence was my favorite of all, as the neighborhood was the cutest and quite famous. Each room comes with a fridge, washing machine, sink, and two induction stoves. You also have unlimited access to bottled water and towels next to the front desk. The staff can help you book a taxi ride to the airport. 🚕Plus, if you ever need something when no one is at the front desk, they provide a WhatsApp number you can use. 🌟

However, many of my friends stayed in Airbnbs, so don’t rule that option out — explore all possibilities. I never tried it myself, but you can also stay in a guesthouse or a sharehouse. These options are usually more affordable, and you can find them on Booking.com and Trip.com.
